Sign To Save Great Barrier Reef From Mining

Important and Crucial Environmental Issue:  Oil Drilling And Mining In The Pacific Ocean.

Avaaz say: “It would be hard to make this stuff up. Australia’s legendarily irresponsible mining industry has a new plan: while the planet faces catastrophic climate change, build the world’s largest coal mining complex, and then build a shipping lane to that port straight through the greatest ecological treasure we have – the Great Barrier Reef!

“Indeed, the coal industry is adding insult to injury to the Great Barrier Reef.  Unfortunately, what The German magazine Der Spiegel reported that “if current trends continue, the unthinkable could happen: the Great Barrier Reef could die.” comes too little, too late.  The Great Barrier Reef is dying, as are all other reefs on the planet owing to the composite effects of over-exploitation, pollution, mechanical degradation, and most importantly:  acidification, which is now irreversible.  However, the Avaaz campaign is honorable nonetheless for its moral and ethical value alone.” Quote from Rick to my friend Mary Matthew.

But it is never too late:  Even the worst cancers can sometimes be healed through right treatment and detoxification.  There IS hope yet for the precious Australian Great Barrier Coral Reef, if remedial measures are promptly taken. One thing is certain:  we must act to prevent MORE damage occuring here and everywhere over the planet.  Sign up now to prevent the mining of the Australian Great Barrier Reef.

The Australian Government is about to allow ocean mining beneath the precious Coral Reef of The Great Barrier, in northern Australia.  Four bombs have already been dropped into the  waters of the Great Barrier Coral Reef.

The Americans recently dropped four bombs onto the Coral Reef at Great Barrier.  This act is an awful omen of things to come.

A couple of weeks ago, I put up a post to alert people about the sudden dropping of these four bombs into the middle of the Australian Coral Reef at Great Barrier.  The bombs were dropped by the American military who have been practicing manouvres with the Australian military.

The story which we were given sounded extremely ominous.  The planes had apparently been running out of fuel, and so the bombs were dropped to make the planes lighter, so that less fuel was needed to get ‘home’.  So we were told.  But we were very suspicious.

The event led us to question an alterior motive for the dropping of these bombs.  The fact that it was the Americans, and not the Australians who dropped the bombs, might make the Australian government less culpable, one would think.  Could the dropping of the bombs  be a deliberate move to prepare us psychologically for more acts of destruction?  Could the bombing have been done to conveniently to open up part of the coral reef for the purposes of mining?  Read this post here:
